What is also galling is that everyone else in that room knows how lacking he is. You can see their distain, their exasperation in their eyes and their body language. And yet in the privacy of the castle there is no little boy to shout out that the Emperor has no clothes.

There are hundreds of reasons to dislike Trump, starting with his distain for the Constitution, his enabling of the atrocities against the Palestinians, his racism, his sexual assaults. But at times like this in find his gauchness to be the most galling.
