A screen grab from an old, but critically acclaimed movie: Pawns on the back rank? Really?!
We were watching “The Rainmaker” (1997) and paused at this scene, because it’s an obvious composite of two separate clips: Virginia Madsen is in focus, as is Danny Glover, but the judge’s bench b/w them is not. Looking closely, you can see some fuzzy vertical transition. I never noticed this before…
