Advent of Code 2025. Finally! I struggled the most with Day 9 part 2 and Day 11 part 2, and Day 12.

I wonder if all the CEOs that dream about replacing workers with AI realize that they are essentially *unionizing their companies*. They will depend on just one or a handful of AI providers, and will be at the mercy of price hikes (think VMWare) or SPOFs (e.g. Claude Code regressions lately).

I wrote a MacOS app to find duplicate files in a directory. There are tons of similar apps on the App Store, but they all want money. I asked Github copilot for an open source repo, but it found none. Public domain, but you need to grab the source code and compile it. github.com/robertolupi/...

I wrote a Chrome extension to redirect amazon.com pages to your preferred Amazon local site, because I was fed up with having Kindle associated with amazon.it when all the affiliate links generally point to amazon.com. It's public domain, feel free to grab & adapt: github.com/robertolupi/...

The little booklet that Ikea gives you with each piece of furniture is a far more challenging test for AI than any of the "PhD-level" STEM tests that current models are measured against... How many years before a robot can assemble furniture with no a-priori knowledge? I wonder how to test GR00T...

What I learned in my own healing. A burnout cycle that starts with enthusiasm (work, behavioral addictions) and ends in depression. Our "self" is a construct, one that shrinks under exhaustion, deepening isolation. Redefining that "self" is key to reconnecting. Real connection heals.

Find balance within! Meditation helps regulate your nervous system by shifting from “fight or flight” to “rest & digest.” Cultivate awareness of your body & mind for increased calm & wellbeing. ✨ #meditation #mindfulness #nervoussystem #wellbeing

I am questioning my interest in quantified self, and my personal science projects... Tracking personal data doesn’t equal wellness. It's a response to relentless self-imposed pressure. #burnout #productivity #selfawareness #mentalhealth

Byung-Chul Han's 'Burnout Society' saw doping normalized. AI is the final step: doping without the doper. Next: a societal shift to value stillness & contemplation as a counter-reaction. But to those not used to stillness, it won't be easy. Just Being feels scary. #philosophy #AI #burnoutsociety

@oura.bsky.social or Ringconn. The killer use case for smart rings is synchronizing couples emotions and arousal during sex via AI generated biofeedback (music, ambient lights). When are you going to wake up and make it happen?

I made a #dmdu and #rdm decision coach.
I made a decision coach in ChatGPT: chatgpt.com/g/g-679f4bff... Let me know if you like it. It uses Decision Making Under Deep Uncertainty, and Robust Decision Making, but applies it to the decision that people take every day.
ChatGPT - Decision Coach: Navigating Uncertainty
A structured coach for applying DMDU and RDM to decision-making.

I recently stepped up, automatic translation in the age of LLMs:

You are a analyst consultant helping a customer. Your job is to help them eliminate ambiguous language from a requirements document. You read the user prompt and output it twice, optimistic and pessimistic version.

We possess the technology to create products that nearly never break. We were doing it in the 70's & 80's.

Then came 'planned obsolescence' - intentionally designing products to become obsolete or break quickly within a set time frame.

This is that- but in reverse.
