Was @RobertRambles on the ol' bird site. Co-creator of Compass for Image Comics. I write things from time to time! It turns out, you *CAN* go home again.
Inside you there are two Wolfes. (This is a compliment.)

Post a book you love from the 80s. No explanations, no reviews, just covers.

A friend prompted a discussion, and a discussion rapidly metastasized into a miniature project.

I present:

TABLETOP! The TTRPG of Musicals.

A fast-paced frenetic experience of pure showbiz and artistic sincerity.

Talking with some friends yesterday about the pure joy of watching goblins go to work causing havoc has become a free, rules light, one-page RPG.

I hope you all enjoy "Oops...All Goblins!"

First one I read? I can't say. Does Kingdom Come count? First one I bought?

What movie did you see way too young?

Lazarus Fallen #1 dropped (give or take a time zone) yesterday. I want to talk about it a little. Bear with me, it's been a while since I've done this.

What's the cover that got you started in RPGs? Here's mine:

SEXPO going in a bit of a different direction this year.

The Devils is shaping up to be *extremely* my kind of business. Any book that contains the expression "the Witch-Engineers of Carthage" knows what it's about.

(These are really good, @teganoneil5000.bsky.social. And now I'm going to posit a thing for you, which I have felt for many years and which very few have understood me on):

A conversation about Tokuzo Tanaka's 1968 fairytale horror classic The Snow Woman led...places. I want to apologise in advance.

Andor proves that Star Wars thrives on tense domesticity and high politics. Therefore, I present a Palpatine: Origins pitch. Please give me $120,000,000 Disney.

I've been getting deeply into "Through The Hedgerow: A Roleplaying Game of Rustic Fantasy" where you play a combination of mortals and spirits defending "The Old Shires" of England against the forces of The Dark. A bit Susan Cooper/Alan Garner in its composition, for tone, but very clever and rich.

Nothing beside remains
Round the decay of that colossal wreck, boundless and bare
The lone and level sands stretch far away

Just heard the great sci-fi artist Chris Moore had passed. Amongst other things, I'd call him the seminal illustrator for *The Stars My Destination*. The definitive Gully Foyle here IMHO.

A loss for the field.

Who needs fancy graphics when you have immaculate writing and the pressure of dozens of ticking clocks going off at once? A beautiful enigma of a game, working through trial and error until you unlock hidden horror and the promise of beauty.

Now for something a little left-field!

I never liked the show, (and please ignore the contractually mandated sex criminal in the upper left corner, no-one knew then) but locked inside this unassuming licensed property is one of the best TTRPGs ever made. A genius piece of design.
