Colon cancer rates have been increasing in prevalence and severity and have been occurring in younger age groups.

This study, linked below, argues (but does not prove) that the increase in ultraprocessed food has something to do with it.

Do we need to eat what our ancestors did or eschew all carbs?

I would propose that all we need to do is eat ‘safe carbs.’

That means low sugar to prevent insulin resistance, and high fiber to reduce flux to the liver and prevent insulin hypersecretion.

A reminder to tread lightly around PCOS misinformation...

PCOS is mitochondrial dysfunction of the liver, leading to insulin resistance of the liver, and then the high insulin drives the weight gain, and drives the ovary to make testosterone instead of estrogen.

Many industries have marketed dangerous products to unsuspecting consumers, but no industry has provided more disinformation than the processed food industry.

And no ingredient has fueled more morbidity, mortality, and economic havoc than sugar.
