I have a dark suspicion we won’t see any more from her. I bloody flaming hope that’s not the case. I love her work on them so far. Even the tavern singing!

But I didn’t stop. I LOVED the Dark Tower each time I read it til it was done. And I liked INSOMNIA and Christine and Desperation + The Regulators… (esp cuz Regulators was my old BBS name ha!)

But since The Stand & It they’ve all been mostly a little less awesome. I prob spoiled myself up front?

I dunno, I love King’s storytelling most of the time. But am I wrong in thinking his endings tend to be a little lackluster?

The Stand (unabridged) was my first Stephen King read too. Then The Talisman. Then It. Then The Mist &’Skeleton Crew…

Ok I haven’t read/seen the Long Walk yet, but they did that change the ending thing in The Mist too. Arguably a better ending.
