No Words for me. The drumming on that track is so good.

I haven't bought a new CD other than Radiohead/The Smile stuff, since 2005. The last one was "Bullet in a Bible" by Green Day.

But second hand CDs are cheap, so thanks to Music Magpie and World of Books I have about a dozen CDs on the way. I want to fill in the gaps from the last 19 years 😆

Found some gems, including.

A shrink-wrapped 1999 "Stop Making Sense" reissue.

25th anniversary release of "London Calling".

"Bowie at the Beeb" 3 CD special edition.

And my copy of "The Whole Story" Kate Bush compilation which is *no longer available to stream* 🥰

I love this album and got to see the 40th anniversary film release at a lovely independent cinema in Bath with my 20 year old daughter.

It's such a great album. I love "Favourite".

The first LP I bought!

I can't unhear it now. Some Clash singles compilations have the alarm sound edited out. But it's there on the album track!

The first four tracks just smack you right in the face.

And I love the Casio digital watch alarm folklore around Rock the Casbah 😆

An absolutely incredible record. I was only 9 when it was released but my older brother was a huge Talking Heads fan and like osmosis, the sound of that band crept out of his bedroom into my very being. And here I am almost 45 years later and still in awe of this record. I will never tire of it.

My first single was, wait for it... "Hole in my Shoe" by Neil from The Young Ones. The B side was a cover of Hurdy Gurdy Mushroom Man. Sigh.

My first LP was "Meat is Murder" by The Smiths which is a bit more acceptable? 😆

The Next Day and Blackstar are both amazing imho. But there's a lot of his 80s and 90s output that passed me by if I'm honest.
