what’s funny is that i DO actually carry my passport most of the time. that said, if i wanted to live under an authoritarian regime where citizenship determines mobility, i’d move to china. at least shit works there. cities are clean and have functional mass transit.

i went to to pick up a script for my NB child. their name, gender, and birth certificate all changed legally. this is uncontroversial. the poor pharm tech at fucking walgreens had to explain to me, sheepishly, that they could only use M or F gender, “because of laws or executive orders.“
