Any team can score at any point, and it’s a decent result tonight, no doubt at all.

I just dont see that raw desire to win in this team. Working together, hunting in packs, determination to bail team mates out when they get in trouble. The hunger isn’t there. Thats down to them and not the coach.

Sorry to hear this. Good luck with the treatment. Hopefully 2026 brings better news.

All true on Frank, but isn’t the main difference to Nuno and why comparisons are useless… the talent on the pitch?
December 1, 2025 at 6:18 PM
Totally agree. It’s the same for all but a handful of teams though, and the fixture list isn’t going to reduce any time soon.

Just gotta hope the cup draws are kind to us like they were last season.

(Obviously now I say this we’ll draw Arsenal in the 3rd round)

Marine went in the qualifying rounds. No chance for them to avenge us (and Alfie Devine)

Tamworth out to Orient in the 1st round 😞

Pray for those away draws all the way baby! Better check if Tamworth are still involved.

The FA cup draw is next Monday. It’s 1 of 2 competitions we had a shot at the season start.

It’s now the only cup we can win, so let’s hope the gods shine on us like with the EL last season and we get favourable draws and the other big teams get knocked out early.

It’ll look different come March.

Should probably start taking bets on which spurs player gets sent off on Saturday ploughing into a Brentford player to ‘prove they care’.
November 30, 2025 at 7:39 PM
Great, and I’m telling you that’s not how emotion works.

Maybe we should propose to the club that they offer money off your match ticket if you haven’t boo’d the team during the 90 mins. We’d solve 2 problems at once that way!
November 30, 2025 at 2:41 PM
I think you’re holding people in the ground to a higher emotional standard than even you can manage at home.

Given the live experience heightens emotion, you’ll always get the minority who can’t help but vent in the moment.
November 30, 2025 at 2:30 PM
If you’re emotional and booing from your couch, why do you think someone in the ground (booing was probably 5-10% of fans max) should show less emotion?

This tends to be genuine spur of the moment, herd mentality stuff. It didn’t continue once the emotion calmed down.
November 30, 2025 at 2:17 PM
I’m down the other end, so didn’t hear the boos when he was on the ball, more just the “ohh waay!” when he was kicking.

hardly touched the ball second half, but he certainly wasn’t getting boos in the Paxton.

Feel like certain players have been 1 mistake from getting boos for the last 12 months.
November 30, 2025 at 12:01 PM
Not sure how it sounded on tv last night but there’s misconceptions about the booing.

The booing after the 2nd goal felt more widely aimed at the team, as you get during any spurs shambles.

Vic was being jeered to kick long after that - more fan pantomime imho.

There were no Frank out chants

Our policy of buying the best player from lower mid table clubs every summer might look good on paper, but it leaves a team which has to play on the front foot and possession, completely without any technically gifted players. Recipe for the disaster we have now.
November 29, 2025 at 11:14 PM
Not sure what went down at full time though
November 29, 2025 at 11:08 PM
The fans were 100% booing Vicario after the 2nd goal and the south stand spent the rest of the 1st half jeering his every touch.
November 29, 2025 at 11:08 PM
Yeah, I’m not sure what the fix is.

VdV was captain tonight and set the tone with a pass straight out of play after 1 min and then making the initial error for the 2nd goal.

They used to talk about Kane and Son setting the standard in training, and I suspect thats completely gone now.
November 29, 2025 at 10:55 PM
Even those who you’d deem to have good character seem happy to throw each other under the bus at the moment.

I’ve not seen the Vicario clanger back, but my first instinct was where’s his teammates? Why aren’t they doing everything in their power to bail him out?

Going back in my mind to think of as bad a first half and I do remember being 3-0 down to Birmingham under Graham, Freud doing his hamstring after 5 mins. He couldn’t recover after that…not sure TF will make it past Brentford next week now.
