I suspect he won’t be the last Utd fan in the home end today. Doubt most will make it this obvious.

Nuno had a brilliant team of players available ( we’d kill for 2-3 of this team now) and it was clear 3 games/wins in that there was a problem.

This was our lineup against Chelsea. His tactics were bonkers, particularly against Arsenal, so it was difficult to be sad or disappointed he was sacked.

I’d say that line up is objectively weaker than anything we put out in an important game last season.

This was Newcastle at the height of our injuries in Jan when we had no keeper. Son, Madders, Biss came off the bench.

I admire Thomas Frank’s commitment to rotating the squad pretty evenly. Feels like there’s 16-17 players he’s happy to give significant minutes to.

Whether that helps reduce injuries / win more games, is another matter altogether.

It’s hardly surprising when you look at the average position of the wolves players though. Absolutely packed the central area. Even madders wouldn’t have been able to pick his way through that.

This is the future of football! No one can pass the ball through the centre of the pitch, and the whole thing has become a dogfight for set pieces. It’s like the 80s and early 90s again!

Seems like a lovely family. They’ll fit right in at the Tottenham board room.

It’s lucky the club is now totally clean under the new ownership and there’s nothing underhand going on at all that’s worth investigating.

If this is really true then I can’t imagine Lange will be in a job by the end of the season.

I have loads of sympathy with Lange given huge change and uncertainty around spurs this summer, but this is another example of bad process. It’s literally his job to have the inside track on the market.

Time to get this photo I took of Sonny framed.

I’m telling people he was waving goodbye to me.

I know forest are upset, but a letter bombing campaign against Tottenham and the premierleague isn’t going to help anyone.
July 15, 2025 at 6:21 PM
Seeing some bluesky coys upset Utd have gone out and signed Cunha and Mbeumo.

Both decent players and carriers who might fit their system, but no one in the league out-scored their xG like these 2.

The data people are crying at utd’s process here!

Anyway, here’s a lovely photo of Sonny waving with one hand and holding a massive trophy in the other!

I disagreed with Ange yesterday saying 3rd seasons are better than 2nd seasons (the wire season 2!), but now he’s comparing himself to George Costanza I’m sold… give the man a life contract now!

I’ve had worse days as a spurs fan. Tears may have been shed.

The grande beer in the Bilbao fan park is definitely as advertised!
May 21, 2025 at 11:11 AM
Of course all of utds injured players are suddenly fit for the final tomorrow!
May 20, 2025 at 6:19 PM
Yeah my thoughts exactly.
I remember a Timo assist against city but that’s it.

The issue is we don’t have lots of cash once capital expenditure is taken in to account. Other clubs would close that gap through owner funding, but obviously ENIC are less keen (although they did inject another £35m in Jan according to this report)

Were you around in the 90s? Cos boy do I have some stories to tell you about our worst managers ever! 😂
April 22, 2025 at 4:37 PM
Not only was he clearly doing crazy shit, but you won’t guess where the bets came from (I’m not joking)
April 7, 2025 at 4:57 PM
I’m not necessarily advocating Iraola, but this was Poch at Southampton before he joined.

Small teams are going to lose matches in the PL…it’s more the about whether the tactical plan is modern, over performs expectations and fits spurs strategy.
April 5, 2025 at 4:59 PM
He even says it in the interview that presumably everyone read the headline and not the actual words of as per usual!

Sounds like Poch sees Levy as a bit of a mentor. He’s always been open that they still have a personal relationship.

Villa are now above us (even more than this with Rashford and Asencio) and Newcastle will be too. Ultimately, that gap is getting wider, and we’re becoming less attractive relative to those clubs + the other established big clubs.

This was my row in the north lower against Man City 3 weeks ago. It was the same the other side of me against Bournemouth on Sunday.

Large numbers of season ticket holders are simply voting with their feet regularly now.
