Really felt it this year more than any other as an assault to my daily schedule. I had been on a good routine of exercise / run in midafternoon. Now it’s suddenly pitch black.

I refuse to become a morning person.

Super small sample of just my world but I feel like Seattle society has figured these out - several years ago they were tipped over, knocked over, thrown in the lakes and ocean. I think they’ve passed critical mass where people largely use them as intended but otherwise they blend in now 🤷‍♂️

I haven’t seen my wallet in a week+. It’s not in danger, just in some pocket or bag or car cubby. I’ll find it eventually. Other than potentially needed ID, I haven’t needed it at all.

It’s happening quickly!

No docking stations would also avoid the issue in the OP article. Yes you might have a couple scooters on your corner for a couple days, but then the migrate on to other pastures. Maybe occasionally returning but never for long.

Free range is better.

Nah after riding in Seattle and Van I’m anti-docking station. I get the intent to keep the whole program tidy and not have detritus / dangerous equipment strewn about, but the docking stations are a whiff.

On a 10 block ride we had to park 2.5 blocks from our destination - not worth it

Rewatched recently and a) it holds up and b) did not realize Giancarlo Esposito was the other half of the crime duo.

Norm I’ve very much enjoyed following you and you are a top tier poster, but including Nothing To Lose here just put you into deity status. Hat tip.

5oz pours are the best. Get to try many different things. There’s inevitable bar bullying for the tiny glass, but I know who is correct.

Oh cool so this is why my business, which is basically just Gmail and Dropbox, grinds my computer to dust by the end of each day. Cool cool cool. Thanks chrome.

I’ve never seen a single package sodium value over 1000. Impressive (derogatory)

Yeah, it’s conflicting. Like, operation warp speed was actually good! Getting rid of the penny is actually ok / good!

He’s actually done a few good things.

I was setting up a new CC and saw an option for “digital ID”!! About a dozen states were listed, but no WA :(

Soon though!

Shit even NESCAC can’t keep off that sweet sweet football money.

Photo in action really sells the fun you too can have with off width.

Yeah thanks, was also a commentary on how 2015 does NOT feel like 10 years ago. Seeing the Covid recession line firmly in the middle of that chart is wild.

When I saw the click baity headline and the sub text about west Seattle I thought “earthquakes?!”

But even as a subscriber I was too annoyed by the headline to click through.

Why does your ten year chart only go back to 2015? Should start at about 2006 or so, right?

Interestingly nearly the same thing happened to the mariners in the prior series.

A regular in the wedgewood broiler tonight had a sweet hat with Japanese characters on it that mean “men of the sea”
