My review on TripAdvisor of the Hilton Anaheim was removed because the hotel underwent some major renovations.
My review, I recall, was that it looked like a terrible 1970 porn movie was shot there, and nothing has changed since then.
Like 99% of all US hotels. Tacky carpets everywhere.

I used an old table pole for that.. and I have to say, I hardly ever need a cable since I sorted them ;)

We got bigger issues here ;) , vegan sauces can’t be sausages any more.. sausages are meat-based apparently..

The pipes had some patching as well ;) The good thing is that you can reach them if they leak. Old houses (just bought one myself) bring surprises.

Spent my vacation building a deck. A bit more work than anticipated due to many unforeseen environmental circumstances, but job is done. Finishing touch will be done by my son.
Two day job turned into more than a week of work. You only know the real work when you take away the old structure 😱😔

Soon, I will be a lumberjack (well, pretending to be one) as I need to clear a path to my cottage. There was a storm, and multiple trees are either hanging, half down, or (like these) blocking my entrance (locals sent us pictures of the damage)

Afgelopen week met de trein in Finland gereisd. Nu reis ik soms wel eens in Nederland met de trein en het toilet is iets waar ik liever geen bezoek breng. Te vies om te bezoeken. Het toilet in de Finse treinen vond ik verassend netjes.
