One thing I think we can all agree on is that Fred Armisen will definitely be playing Michael Wolff in the Trump-Epstein biopic, right?

I met Robert Redford once at an advertising luncheon. The dude was already well into his 70s but just exuded charisma. Strode into the room wearing a linen shirt unbuttoned halfway down, tight jeans and a giant belt buckle. He told a hilarious, humble story 1/5

The President of the United States is threatening to go to war with an American city.

This is not a joke. This is not normal.

Donald Trump isn't a strongman, he's a scared man. Illinois won’t be intimidated by a wannabe dictator.

On one hand, I despise the weaponization of government for personal retribution.

On the other hand, I mean, come on. John Bolton.

The frustrating insanity of the moment, succinctly put
Sometimes the sheer idiocy of this moment overwhelms me. The idea that our convicted felon POTUS who incited an attack on DC police then pardoned the attackers & who's the most corrupt official in US history is going on an "anti-crime" ride-along in a city w/falling crime rate is...(brain explodes)

Also, the leader of THE ACTUAL FUCKING COUNTRY THAT GOT INVADED WASN’T THERE. So, yeah, not really possible to get a “deal” anyway. Jeezus.

A few things:

1. Irony is dead, with the only President in US history who actually staged a coup accusing another

2. Too bad SCOTUS deemed all Presidents immune even if it were somehow true

3. Insane that a President accusing another of actual treason is being laughed off by most of the world
NEW: President Trump accused former President Obama of treason over baseless claims that Obama tried to organize a “coup” against him in 2016.

The accusation comes as pressure mounts over Trump’s mishandling of Epstein-related documents.

To all the “just comply with police and you’ll be fine” people. Absolutely nauseating brutality. Nothing justifies this.

Signs of hope, not only in the list itself (a quick and satisfying read), but in @nytimes.com editorial board using clear language referring to Trump’s “often illegal” actions and comparing to “other democracies that slid toward autocracy.”

🚨One of the most terrifying elements of the Trump budget bill is NOT getting enough attention.

The Bill will make ICE the biggest policing and incarceration agency in the US.

Bigger than the FBI, with more jail space than the Federal Prison Bureau.

It’s a budget for a police state.
