Multimillionaire Peter Dutton's teenage son is struggling to buy a house ... in fact things are so tough that he fronted a press conference in Brisbane to share his struggle with Australia! Maybe his "Property Investor" dad could promise legislation to put an end to negative gearing!

For years we’ve seen the real Dutton. He’s shown it to you. He punches down on immigrants, Muslims, China, Palestinians, Indigenous ppl, LGBTQI community..

..& now he wants u to believe he’s here to help everybody.

Believe what you’ve already seen. Not the spin

Attacking the government might have given the Coalition some easy wins over the past three years, but does it add up to an election strategy?

When such a once-reliable ally as the US no longer seems so reliable, it is surely worth following the common sense of the House of Commons and taking a look at AUKUS. @SMH #auspol #aukus
AUKUS turning point – Sydney Morning Herald calls for review
Since the AUKUS deal was signed in 2021 Pearls and Irritations has led a high-profile debate on the $368 billion deal, questioning whether it serves our interests. This week we saw a significant turning point. An editorial in the Sydney Morning Herald calls on the Australian Government to follow the UK lead, and launch an inquiry into the deal. Below is the full text of the editorial.

I put this post up on TikTok and it was removed for “violating community guidelines”

In what world is reporting on truth regarding workers rights violating community guidelines?

I hve since appealed the decision & it has been reinstated. It should never have been removed.

In the debate between Ted O’Brien & Chris Bowen - O’Brien deflected questions abt whether Aus would remain signatory to the Paris Agreement & said Coalition wld be “reviewing” Labor’s emissions targets.

The QLD LNP tore up targets after saying they wld review them.

What do u think Dutton would do?

Weird thing to brag about.

The coalition sold out our sovereignty and our defence policy to a nation prone to electing idiot presidents.

And the ALP signed on, in opposition and in government.

QLD LNP have set about cutting funding to hospitals

Let’s not forget the stadium they are now building they didn’t want in opposition.

but apparently it’s a special secret sycophant meeting behind closed doors for special invite only🙄

When QLD Labor did their “community” Cabinet -it was open to all members of the public.
