Revenge of the Firstborn is a classic, isometric RPG. It's based on the D&D 3.5 rules for more crunchy combat and character building than the current edition.

In Revenge of the Firstborn, armor class is specific to damage types, so full plate protects better against slashing damage than bludgeoning and leather armor protects better against bludgeoning than piercing. This is one of several optional rules in the game. #screenshotsaturday

In addition to a full, hand-crafted campaign, Revenge of the Firstborn has a roguelike mode called the "Endless Dungeon" complete with randomly generated layouts, loot and monsters. In addition, small quests to challenge you are sprinkled throughout the dungeon to up the ante.
