Here's a #screenshotsaturday from a 2.5D LucasArts style adventure game that I started working on a couple of days ago.

It uses volumetric lighting with sprites and a custom post processing pass to give it a retro dithered vibe.

Was having trouble making an enemy chase the player using nav agent, so I had to write my own "pathfinding" system. It's very basic and not optimized at all, but at least it works! #gamedev #indiedev #solodev #godot #horrorgame

Blender render made by me in the lowpoly style. There's three characters, it's my husband, me and my best friend from left to right. My husband has black hair, a very light honey skin, brown eyes, and a wizard Halloween costume. I have a vampire costume with even vampire teeth, black hair and brown eyes too, very pale skin, and a lollipop on my hand. My best friends has brown very dark hair in cute puffy ponytails, she's a black girl with brown eyes, and a witch's costume. There's a big wood table in front of us with tons of sweets, there's snickers and KitKats, M&Ms, a sweet potato pie and a pecan pie, caramel apples (the ones for my other Halloween project/art), and some popcorn. And there's also three cups for drinks

Mayfly is a short story-led quiet horror set entirely on a narrowboat in Northern England.

Very much work in progress, + missing dialogue for Caroline, but this will eventually form scene 2 of 4 before the game is finally complete.
