Enjoyed this one. Some straight folks in the Letterboxd reviews seemed to think that the opening scene in the gay bar would read as offensive to queer folks but... I'm not sure why? The patrons quiver in fear, sure, but I know I would've if a gang of thugs broke into a gay bar when I was in my 20s.

Going through my screenshots folder and damn this one had some bangers.

Went into this prepared to like it because of its reputation, and also because I love Kiarostami's CERTIFIED COPY, but it left me totally cold. Way, way too much time spent on monotone testimony.

I'm sure that's the point etc. etc. but I struggled to engage with it as a result.
