Both Luca and JJ would speak English, Mandarin and Indonesian. Luca's Indonesian would be rustier compared to JJ's though.

I have been a lion king kid since forever so both Luca and JJ are based on lions. Luca is a maned lioness adjacent, while JJ is a mix of a lion and a bornean bay cat.
