Another day, another predictably awful contribution to what could be a great podcast. One day I’ll learn not to listen to it.

It’s amazing that the more you listen to some on podcasts, you realise quite how arrogant and conceited they come across in comparison to the very nice people they are in person… and you wonder which is real!

Just thinking, there’s a world in which this is the last time I see Mo, Virg and Trent in the flesh at Anfield. Taking that in and it’s a really sad thought.

Stunning #Battersea morning. Out early … felt good other than an interesting stomach (likely anxiety induced).

Now on the pilgrimage, possibly for the last time this season, so will breathe in every last drop & cherish every moment.

PS - and yes, got to love those mile 3-5 splits! 😉

Always interesting to hear Christians simply lying on podcasts - what a shame that people feel the need to exaggerate their everyday lives to try and impress others and build false credibility.

Special days, with the Reds helping us to create special memories with special people! #UpTheReds

Off on the pilgrimage, always special.

Fun memories of January 25 today! 19 stone of me en route to a League Cup Semi-Final second leg against City at Anfield in 2012, and a lot less of me in Bournemouth for an early FA Cup kick-off in 2012.

Each one is precious.

In today’s Guardian, I wrote about the hope, purpose and connection I found in conservation volunteering when I was feeling overwhelmed by the environmental crisis: www.theguardian.com/lifeandstyle...
I was in despair about the environmental crisis. Then I volunteered to clean up my local park

Ahhh… I like getting creative with my porridge and this was a winner! Banana, peanut butter, generous ground cinnamon, a nice sprinkling of chilli flakes.

Sporting legends from a different era! Dad, Thommo & Gary Cosier in Australia … probably 1977/8 when dad spent a winter playing Sheffield Shield for Queensland during the Packer time.

Nothing as good as the wife’s broccoli & stilton soup while down with the lurgy.

With a bit of hot sauce to blow the cobwebs away!

Awesome find on YouTube … Australia vs West Indies, Third Test 1979/80 at Adelaide.

I knew it was dad’s last Test hundred but what I didn’t know was that he was (at the time) only the fifth West Indian to reach 4,000 Test runs.

In that era, that was a lot of runs!

After West Ham played out Lopetegui’s exit in public, so Everton have been equally crass in their treatment of Dyche.

In what world is it right to let him do the press conference and then dismiss him a few hours later.

All employers can treat people with a level of respect and dignity.

I think we go strong tonight. I’d play Trent for 60 and get young Bradley some time.

However, I would also make Trent captain on Saturday, even if he only plays the first-half. It is a quick way to remind us all that he remains a Red and a leader in our team.

Make a Forest decision thereafter.

T’was a tad chilly this morning… a few layers underneath this I can tell you.

Took it nice and easy although not as much ice & slipperiness as I expected.

Sluggish first thing so took it easy.

As a Brucie Bonus, was able to run one of my favourite stretches (Chelsea Embankment) uninterrupted for the first time seven years with super sewer work complete by Chelsea Bridge.

At 2 degrees… a little milder than yesterday!! 🤣

Warned up quickly though and enjoyed that. Zippy with a little bit of tourist dodging around Whitehall and Parliament Square!

Considering I get cold simply by seeing a fridge, you have to give kudos to Uniqlo & their thermals… I didn’t expect to overheat on my run this morning but did!!! 👌🏾🤣🌡️

Good start to the day, now to get busy!! #ukrunchat

Well… let’s just say there was a breeze and some drizzle this mornint! Exhilaratingly fun way to step into 2025! #ukrunchat

It’s been clear for months that Trent’s advisors are advising him to run down his contract. If he does, all bridges are burnt.

He has a mind of his own and is capable of combining what is right for him and right by the club.

It’s cowardice & all about brand Trent.
