WIP Wednesday. French Franco Prussian war figures passing for Crimean War infantry. 25mm Foundry metal and Perry plastics done in contrast paints. I never would have tried two color epaulets in the past. Now they are easy enough.

25mm Minifigs. Got the figures painted, (and I'm not going to repaint), found 10 more on ebay to fill them out to 20 and 24 figure units.

WIP Wednesday. 48eme Regiment d'Infantrie. 25mm Foundry figures, although the ensign may be Mirliton. Had to paint up a half dozen of the unpainted to fill out the unit, and used contrast paints, and then used several GW shading inks on the already painted figures to tie them all together.

An ebay haul of mid 19th century French, this is just the painted portion. 25mm Minifigs, Frontier, and Foundry figures. They did not come to on stands, and I suspect they have never seen the table top. I will fix that.

A very light Spanish gun, and Italian pikemen Did the Bande Nere have pikes? Well, they do now! 25mm TAG and Foundry figures, with a very old GW and Essex knights for officers. Flags by Pete's Flags. Painted with contrast paints, mostly.

WIP. Jinetes and Albanians. 25mm TAG figures. Their lancegays are made with plastic broom bristle, with the end flattened with a pliers and cut to a point. The supplied metal ones were too thick.

Mounted arquebusiers done. 25mm TAG figures, contrast paints. Was originally going to put them on 60x40mm stands for ADLG, (or WRG 7th and later), but I thought they looked bad, so used 60×60mm. Can still use them for ADLG, but also Impetus, Midgard, Fantastic Battles or Pike and Shotte.
