Not really this is like a 15pt drop off from a survey a few days beforehand. Also it’s an online only survey people have to opt in to, its margin of error is just about repeatability and it still has massive selection bias for the oldest aged voters in the union.

I think people are more oblivious to when they’re being lied to. But that’s just me.

My theory is that it's something mundane you covered, but USSS swooped in on someone else's find to claim credit for stopping an assassination (based on comments that it was from threats to officials) the week after someone was assassinated.

They don't, though billing is often in arrears. I would bet that's why there were plenty more unused cards they found, so when carriers blocked these for fraudulent payments, they'd swap in new ones and continue.
