my fav game jams consist on:
- no winners for best *anything*. you're already jamming, that should be enough
- food that goes beyond cold pizza every night
- varied drinks (no alcohol, no enegy drinks stronger than coffee/tea)
- an enforced safe space policy
- alternative engines and mixed media

At the time I discovered "Loved" by Alexander Ocias, over a decade ago, I was so amazed by how well the game integrated its message into the gameplay, but also how much you can still interpret into it. It's a game I still keep thinking about.

At the time I discovered "Loved" by Alexander Ocias, over a decade ago, I was so amazed by how well the game integrated its message into the gameplay, but also how much you can still interpret into it. It's a game I still keep thinking about.
