The ban on Pakistan carriers serving the UK has reportedly been lifted. I expect Manchester to gain 2 returning carriers within the next few days/weeks at most.

After many years, one of Manchesters biggest route wishlist destinations will be crossed off this December:
Islamabad will run 2 weekly on behalf of HB international
Delhi will run 3 weekly on behalf of Indigo
Bridgetown and Antigua will run in behalf of P&O.
Rather strange situation if you ask me. 😂

After being loaded initially as an A333 all summer, Virgin are now using the A350 on Manchester-Las Vegas until 13th June.
Some flights are already close to sold out, so unsure if the upgrade is due to the higher demand or just aircraft availability. Good to see either way.

Could therefore be a great time to announce new flights to help boost those numbers 😉

Along with the 7 daily Aer Lingus flights, some serious capacity being shifted between the city pair
In terms of Manchester highlights:
Madrid now sees 3 flights on sundays.
Lisbon 11 weekly
Alicante 21 weekly
Bucharest 4 weekly.
There will be other changes but that’s a first glance look

If the Disney site is to be belived (and Disney are usually hot with detail for ease of booking), Manchester-Orlando on Virgin *could* be increasing to 15 weekly next summer.
Edinburgh-Orlando is currently not bookable (and worth noting the VS/EDI 5 year deal ends this year)

Air Canada once again downgrade their Manchester flights.
Instead of a 5 weekly B787, it’s now a 3 weekly A330.
Even with Canadian airlines switching to Europe in the face of US tariffs, it seems MAN just can’t catch a break on TATL.

Turkish widebodies galore!
Today sees TK send and A330 and B77W to Manchester. There’s also lots of A330 planned but 20th April sees 4 flights that day, and all 4 use the A330 as things stand.
4 flights on an A330 to one short haul destination in one day is nuts!

Corendon Airlines seem to have taken its London and Manchester to Heraklion flights off sale, but now in the process of putting Manchester-Izmir back on sale.
They like to chop and change, this airline!?

Air Canada have upgraded their Toronto-Manchester flights from the originally planned B787-8 to the B787-9.
Unusual for Air Canada to not only keep the original frequency but actually increase capacity.

2 British Airways flights diverted to Manchester earlier today. Both were heading to Newcastle, but owing to fog there, ended up at MAN.
The first divert positioned back to London and the second continued to Newcastle after a short stay.

BA1338 LHR-NCL also diverting away, likely to Manchester as it will be pushing the curfew time if it goes back to LHR
