Looking at some loads for flights today, and majority of the long haul flights from Manchester are going out completely full today. Irrespective of whether it’s the summer holidays, the fact flights to routes like Orlando are full to the brim means high costs in the USA isn’t an issue for some….

Emirates will not be adding its 4th daily flight to Manchester this winter, due to its lounge in terminal 2 being significantly delayed (EK issue versus a MAG one).
It’s expected they will begin the 4th flight in time for the S26 season instead.

It’s worth noting Air Help are a compensation company, so most if not all people dealing with it are going to be ‘unhappy’ at a delay, so should be no wonder that it skews the results for the ‘rest of the experience’.

The Manchester evening news ought to be ashamed of itself. Alerted by a ‘breaking news’ notification of ‘Ryanair UK plane crashes at Greek airport’
It clipped a barrier while taxiing onto the stand at low speed. The amount of alarm its notification probably caused is down right shameful.

It’s worth noting that in the hype around Emirates applying for a 4th daily flight at LGW, they haven’t actually received the slots they wanted yet, having been granted slots in excess of an hour difference from what they applied for, so, the addition of this service remains very subject to change.

FlyOne to cut Manchester-Chisnau from 15th Sept due to poor loads.
Was always a tough ask on a small route with little advertising. Shame to lose an airline but sometime not much you can do if the market isn’t there.
