There's also a real tragedy of the commons aspect here, too. Imagine an ad break with four of these quick-cut AI commercials, in succession. My brain would reject all of it.

One of my favorite Ebert lines is still explaining how he knew McKellar's "Last Night" was a Canadian film: hours before the end of the world, Sandra Oh takes two bottles of wine from a looted store shelf, examines both, and puts the one she doesn't want neatly back in place (paraphrased).
