The Paris Review is here (the linked one) which probably makes the other profile a squatter (the screenshot one). Definitely a squatter, in fact, since in adding the alt text I've realised there's a typo in the handle.

The quieter bird sounds between the screeches are the adult. I assume reassuring the youngster it's safe with its parent close by.

It's ages since I've seen it but I think it might have been the voice I recognised first at the time.
Although, I've just found the episodes on YouTube and he has a definite Catweazle vibe about him.
