I know it shouldn't surprise me, but I'm always blown away by how #powerful the #lyrics are in some #videogame #music.

The Ballad of Buck Ravers goes hard 🤘🏻

People who "write" using #AI are no different from little kids at bedtime asking daddy to tell them a story.

And like little kids, they think they did something cool by asking 🤷🏻‍♂️

I wanted to be lazy and give a thumb drive its own icon so, I gave AI an image I have.

After 12 minutes of frustration and "prompt engineering" all I got was garbage.

In less than five minutes I downloaded Transmission, Gimp 3, watched a video on alpha channels, and made the bloody thing myself 💀🤖

I don't do it often so I love traveling for business. It always makes me feel like a kid going on a trip. More so going to a place I've never been ✈️🤓

Lots of posts about going straight from Halloween to Christmas.

But they were all deceived, for another #celebration was made. El #DiaDeLosMuertos, to #remember them all 💀❣️

The northern hemisphere gets chilly and autumnal, down under is springy and flowering. A good reminder why the Unified Calendar is superior:

20 months of 18 days, plus 5 festive (6 on leap years). Perfectly regular, each day of the year always falls exactly on the same date.

It's nice out in the neighbourhood. There are Diwali 🪔 decorations, Halloween 🎃 decorations, and really early Xmas 🎄 decorations.

We'll have private Día de los Muertos 💀 altar at home.

It's a very multicultural time of the year 🇦🇺

I listened to the new Taylor Swift and I quite like The Fate of Ophelia, Opalite and *searches YT music again* Ruin the Friendship.

My playlist this week has included her, Tron: Ares, and a whole lot of @lindseystirling, Yota, HEALTH, Aim To Head and an eclectic selection 🎧 #music

Yesterday got a cold call from "Telstra" because "my IP was being used to make lots of suspicious calls". Then the guy asks me if I know what that means.

I said: Yes, it means this call is a #scam.

Hung up and blocked ☠️

In my household we don't fight over who has to do the chores. We fight over who gets to do them!

Someone call neurotics anonymous 🤪

Today #life literally gave us #lemons.

Walking our dog we came across a box of lemons a neighbour left out for passer-bys to pick up for free.

So we picked up a couple, and literally made #lemonade. 😁

Every damn time 😂
Sometimes I’ll replay a game and think “I’ll do an evil playthrough, that’ll be new and fun” and then I’ll do one evil thing and be like no…it’s wrong to do that to these pixels.

The problem with this "self-improving" idea is that you will give up all control, just like we can't control how people learn, what they learn, and what they end up believing.

To be clear, that's good and normal for people, bad for tools.

I wonder if pretending to faint to avoid being taken hostage during a robbery would work?
There's always a chance you'd anger the criminal and they kill you on the spot 🤔

That QuiGon dude sure was a terrible Jedi.

He saved and kept Jar Jar, who goes on to make possible for Palpatine to gain absolute power; but also, he could have simply saved Shmi and prevent the creation of Darth Vader.

I'm very pleased with the way this interview turned out 😁
On this episode of pages down under I got the chance to chat a little about my novel

I recently bought a pair of "transitions" glasses.

They're so effective that now I behave like a vampire whenever I wear them around the house, avoiding direct sunlight so they don't suddenly go dark on me 😂

I wonder if those people who swear that listening to an #audiobook is #reading also think that listening to people talk on a podcast is "reading" 😜

Mostly #tongueincheek, chill!

Crapitalism
noun

an economic and political system in which property, business and industry are owned by a vanishing few, who demand ever increasing productivity and profits, while simultaneously cutting down salaries and automating people out of jobs.
