On Friday I was Downtown walking along Nicollet Avenue. Ate lunch at the IDS Center. On the same day, Sonny Curtis, who wrote this song, died at 88. I bet Sonny liked this cover, too.

Forty-seven degrees yesterday at MSP. A record. Minnesota seems to be losing one of the few things that gives it a sense of place. Its winters. We have wimpy Ohio Winters now.

This is Clouser’s Predator. I found it on a YouTube page called SheTiesFlies where a woman turns fly tying into a Zen-like exercise with soft music. The Predator has downy marabou feathers, strips of flashy material, peacock, dyed squirrel collar and lead eyes.
