'being suffocated with a pillow". I tried to read it and a few paragraphs in, I had that exact feeling. Thank you for elucidating that. Now I know.

Solar panels. I’ve mused about that as well. I keep wondering about some on the bed cover of my Lightning.

Neil Young electric retro fits cars like this.
No kidding. Apparently one of his passion projects.

Even my F150 Lightning locked my seatbelt the first time I punched it. Okay.

Exactly what loyal Confederates have done and obviously, are doing today.
We should have never negotiated or compromised with the Confederacy during Reconstruction.
This is another marker of how much White America has to do to rectify our shameful history of enslaving humans.

If I lived on the mainland, I’d have something smaller with longer range.
Not enough miles on Maui to run out my short range batteries. Also, a one mile dirt road to my house, completely off grid, makes this truck a worthy work horse.

This is hilarious. As I be whip past all the beefed up bad boy Tacomas in my Lightning F150. Go granny, go b

Ford 150 Lightning in the jungle on Maui. Powered entirely by sun power.
It also kicks ass coming into town.

No wonder I’m chronically nauseated.

This is akin to the end of Reconstruction.
Bloody fight, then negotiate away the win for peace, while the people you were ostensibly fighting for, get thrown under the bus.
It’s almost like Black people could be saying, “we told you so”.

I’m 68. Can I make old people jokes? Lol
I laughed at the original post. I’ll laugh at old people stuff. Better than crying or complaining.

I'm 68. I am furious. Yesterday, I thought was going to have an aneurism. I finally made cinnamon toast & watched a comedy special. Rest as needed. Stay in the fight. There are lots of us here with you.
Today, I wrote emails to my senators. I also donated money to this fight. Do what you can.

I just started doing this as well.
When I call I'm pretty sure know who I am. Every time I call or email them, I have to tamp down the, "I'm being a pest" voice in my head. Now I'm just rip roaring furious and I keep thinking, don't get mad, get even. Focus, strategy, persistence.

This is going to require everyone's time, talent & money. I just gave $1,000. I'm 68 years old, I do not have the talent of the younger people, I do have time & money for this fight.
I realize I may die & never see the results. I will honor those who fought before me. Organize & Stand Strong!

Every Dem that voted against the reconciliation needs to be up in the faces of the eight that voted for it. Do it publicly, loudly, everywhere and all at once.
It seems like Dems do not understand what they are up against. Maybe that's why they don't understand effective fighting. SMH

Schumer has to go as Senate Leader. He's completely ineffective in leading & wrangling the caucus. We can do better.
It's the fight for our democratic republic and our very freedom.

Be brave Dems. Get a coalition together to get new leadership. The winds of the people are at your back.

Schumer is a fail as a leader.
Boot him now.
Get someone with seriously deep values and the skill to lead and wrangle the caucus.

I’m furious.
Never underestimate old women who are at, “don’t make me come over there”.
Who are we primarying?
