Agreed. It also would have been nice if she’d learned that threats fueled by Trump are bad at some point in the decade he was doing it to people, before she became a target.

The thing is, the more extreme the gerrymander, the more brittle it is. You end up with more “safe” seats, but with a more narrow definition of “safe”. In a wave election, those narrower margins might not be enough. You could end up winning fewer seats than with no gerrymander. 🤞

Don’t know if it applies to you, but definitely does to me (and Dave): 3) just because there’s a good video on how to do something on YouTube doesn’t mean you can follow the instructions and do the thing well (or even passably).

Curious how much they’ll need to pay Seth to run the auction. With legal fees, I’m sure it will be … disproportionate. (TBC: not relative to the dog, who is priceless, but to just working out a plan, even with lawyers involved. This isn’t fighting over a wagon wheel coffee table, but it’s up there.)

I don’t know of any good thing Nick has ever done on purpose, but by driving attention and money to your charity drives he * accidentally* had a major impact.

As a developer in corporate IT for two decades, my “secret” super power was keeping a full email archive and knowing how to search it. Stricter retention policies have eroded that, but only somewhat.

Time works in funny ways. I didn’t make it to my 30-year HS reunion. Did get a group photo of the attendees, though. If I hadn’t known they were all my age, I’d have sworn their ages spanned at *least* a decade.
