relatedly, I've also been going into homelabbing more and more over the past few years and that also has been awesome. I've been slowly disentangling myself from cloud services and big tech bastards. I didn't realize how much I don't need the cloud, most shit is totally fine local. it rocks!!!!!!!!!
been all linux all week for my streams (on both gaming/stream PCs - Arch, btw) and I'm loving it. there's only one game that'll force me back to Windows once a week due to anti-cheat (PUBG), but everything else is working perfectly
