Working in a school, I see many people who do not see children as people. Children are property. They are accessories. Any child who is not white, cisgendered is seen as defective. It is heartbreaking and fills me with rage regularly.

I completely understand this anxiety. Our evaluation tool is the same as the classroom teachers. It doesn’t even begin to cover much of the work we do.

You don’t need it! When we genrefied our nonfiction section, other than the 300s, very little changed. (The 300s cover pretty much everything wrong with Dewey!)
