If anyone is wondering about @aoc.bsky.social’s science credentials, she has an asteroid named after her because she won a prize as a senior at one of the world's biggest science fairs. Her prizewinning research was done at Mount Sinai Hospital on longevity using C elegans worms as a model system.

I am very very jealous that this family on Prince Edward Island (Canada) had a small meteor hit their sidewalk and managed to catch it on their door cam in what is likely the first audio and visual recording of a meteor strike!
