They’re beautiful chapbooks! I’ve been been spending some proper time with @apbrown.bsky.social ‘s Small Remedies this afternoon, and it’s been a beautiful way to handle a too-hot apartment on a Friday!

Cuts to education bring incalculable costs along with them. And they’re not mistakes easily fixed—just a little down the road. They’ll quickly shut the US out of critical conversations around how the world is going to survive, moving forward—and for that, we need all hands on deck.

They’ve also provided a well-timed lift in spirits. So far, this summer has been fraught and uncooperative.

(I would have returned it to the store, weeks ago—but I’m not convinced the universe has minted a less faulty model, so far.)
