We have made a fully biobased metamaterial using bamboo rods, soybean and castor oil resins. A single 30g unit of this metamaterial can support 700 kg under compression. Applications range from truss structures to drones. @erc.europa.eu 🧪⚙️♻️🌳🪵 #AcademicSky
