MLS Pressure. Fans need to pressure MLS. Expansion is nearly over, if it isn’t already. They won’t be able to afford to have teams so ineptly managed. If they want to grow MLS, they can’t have one of the biggest soccer markets be a complete dumpster fire.

Why was there a National Guard presence?

DC United should immediately snap him up for their NextPro team

Now that this season is over and there is no way for DC to make the playoffs, what do you want the team to play out the season? Are there specific players you want to get minutes?

Not for that price, I wouldn’t. Maybe a third of the fee. He’s good, but not that good.

Has anyone identified which Academy players played against Ethiopia? Is there a rule that the player’s names can’t be shared?

Did you see DC United’s youth development program announcement? I know you are pretty plugged into the youth development scene in the DMV. Is this something, anything? Is it a step in the right direction? Would love to get your thoughts?

What happens to DC United, since they were paying most of his salary, and technically is their DP? Does this affect them at all?

Great show, though a bit depressing, but that’s life as a DC United fan. One request, can you please find out where DC United is with regards to MLS NextPro? I honestly think that’s one of the biggest weaknesses within the club. There are many other issues, but the biggest is lack of pathway to pros

Imagine if they could get him on a green card. The flexibility the team could have. It is interesting how much more efficient the club has been at securing green cards for their players.

Thanks, these rules are truly Byzantine.

One other thing is, move the plant stand out a bit further onto the pitch so that it stands out more and can be seen better.

People have said no, but reading the U-22 initiative rules, I don’t see why not.

This might not be right. If he’s 22 when he signs the contract, he could be eligible. I could be wrong, MLS rules are the definition of Byzantine, but the rule states he must be 22 years old or younger at the time of signing their first MLS contract.

This team will only improve if there is new ownership. The current owners are really bad at sports management, and don’t seem to have the capacity to make long term planning.

No one who has options and a vague familiarity with this league is taking the DCU job.
