I have to get a pirated copy from Canada to circumvent Trump's censorship. Didn't expect doing this in 2025.

I haven't watched modern tv in sometime. Do TV shows still do recaps for two part episodes?

@karaswisher.bsky.social Do you think it was wise or a mistake for the DOJ to sunset the Paramount Decrees established in 1948? The United States vs. Paramount that prevented Studios from owning theaters.

Purchased this and found the story lacking. This doesn’t get new readers. It’s all setup but lacks a beginning, middle and end of a story arc. If comics want to survive write a compelling 16 page story.

DC Comics Announces Second Printing for Batman #1 with New Variant Covers
Batman #1 has officially sold out through distributors, prompting DC Comics to announce a second printing that will arrive on October 15, 2025. This reprint comes just two weeks after the release of Batman #2 on October 1, keeping momentum strong for the new series. The new printing will feature a recolored logo on Jorge Jiménez’s main cover, a new cardstock variant from Jiménez and Tomeu Morey, and a pair of cardstock and foil variants from Dan Mora. With demand already exceeding expectations, these options give collectors multiple ways to celebrate the start of a bold new Batman era. A New Direction for Batman This run brings Eisner Award-winning writer Matt Fraction together with superstar artist Jorge Jiménez, with Tomeu Morey on colors and Clayton Cowles handling lettering. The creative team has promised a Batman series that is both fresh and classic, highlighted by a redesigned blue-and-gray costume and a modernized Batmobile. The solicitation for Batman #1 teased a new dawn for Gotham City. It sets Batman and Bruce Wayne on a path that will challenge them like never before. Fraction’s sharp storytelling and Jiménez’s high-energy art bring Gotham to life in a way that blends action, drama, and neon-infused […] The post DC Comics Announces Second Printing for Batman #1 with New Variant Covers appeared first on PopGeeks.com Forum | Indie Games, Movies, TV, Tabletop & Comics.

A penny has a circulation average of 30 years. If only we used them instead of tossing them in jars and fountains. I deposited my jar and have been 98% cash free. No more messing with pocket change.

I bought the 2006 set back then and is still the way I watch the original trilogy. I don't like AI adding/removing or altering pixels. Every remaster looks and sounds different depending on the technology of the day. Laser disc is the closest to how I remember seeing it. youtu.be/C_HjYrYk8vc?...

Yup. Got my Alamo this morning. Woke up and checked the app. Saw it was in stock and raced over. Beer man was stocking the shelf. I asked and he laughed. “Why is everyone asking me about it this morning”. Explained the King of The Hill promotion. Showed him the app. He found 10 cases just delivered.

'Hidden' provision in Trump's big bill could disarm US Supreme Court
The provision would bar courts from enforcing contempt citations for violations of injunctions or temporary restraining orders unless a bond has been paid.
