Old person just trying to keep up.
At my best, little worse than a beast.
At my worst, little better than a man.
He/him/his.

Excuse my typo. I meant "regnal name". Everything else is spelled accurately, I think?

No, no, he's trying to reinstate the North Sea Empire of 1028 by conquering all of it. His regal name will be the lesser Cunt because Cunt the Great was already taken.

Ok, are we sure that he knows that Norway and Denmark are two different countries?

Yeah, I'd agree with all that. I'd also say Hells Angels is some pretty good insight into the American male brainrot

I'm kind of glad to see that he's not alive to see the current state of affairs.

GI Robot would cackle with glee at your death...
If you work for ice please understand that your kids will laugh at a character based on you dying in an action movie before the end of the decade. They’ll be in movies for really little kids. Like Phineas and Ferb shit. There will be an action figure of you with a detachable head

If Kat Abughazaleh was handing out swords the streets of Chicago would be running red with the blood of dead nazis. Instead she is handing out tampons and there is less blood in the streets of Chicago.

Also, you can save a Marimo notebook as a Jupyter notebook or call it programmatically from Jupyter.
January 18, 2026 at 2:09 AM
I don't know. I use Dagster for that and it's easy to execute a notebook programmatically from any orchestration or scheduling app.

I would argue that Marimo's DuckDB support is making all DataFrame libraries obsolete.

So I always have a named "inputs" cell near the top of my section where I set input variables (usually pydantic). They you can call the app from wherever (Cyclopts, FastAPI, etc) and all you have to do is override the vars in the input cell.

Don't get me wrong: Papermill is cool. Arguably the best thing Netflix ever produced 😜. But it's not that widely used that every Marimo user is gonna read this section.
January 17, 2026 at 7:39 PM
So you can import an entire marimo app into a another Python script and run it like any other function, but the docs are hidden in the "Coming from Papermill" section: docs.marimo.io/guides/comin...

I'm a super heavy weight marimo user. It's infinitely better than Jupyter. It also has amazing features that are buried deep in weird places in the docs. Example to follow once I find it:
