The amazing thing about fandom is I haven't updated in years (the spirit is willing but the mind and body remain exhausted) and yet I still get an email almost every day that someone left a kudos on one of my works. You all remain excellent and awesome.

So my new furry nephew, Nugget. He's a teething monster right now:

They always forget the run on frozen pizzas when they mock the South for the milk and bread frenzy at the hint of winter weather.

Among the things my uncle mailed to us today as he sorts through my aunt's things were the ceramic Christmas trees my grandmother made. Sadly only one barely survived the journey and I need to figure out a new lighting base bc the lighting base tree was destroyed, but it's still so pretty.

He's my very old man dog, Puppy, who I hope at least makes it through Christmas. (He's 16 and feeling every single one of those years.) She's my absolute menace of a tortie cat, Tessie. Also a senior now at 10 years old. Still thinks she can eat plastic.

They aren't an exact dupe for the Keebler's Danish Wedding Cookies but they're the closest I've tasted in years and delicious.

Pumpkins have arrived at work. It's officially Fall.

For weeks now I've had the urge to reread The Phantom Tollbooth, but I couldn't find any of our copies in the house. And then yesterday, when finally cleaning up a usually blocked bookshelf, I found this one. Time to take a journey to The Lands Beyond.
