Having never seen the map of the Seattle area in Shadowrun, I have to say, apparently, Puyallup in 2050 or whatever appears to be doing moderately better than real life. Also, if Ranier were to blow its top, that is pretty much exactly what would happen, except also there would be lahars.
Mount Rainer erupted in 2017 and buried Puyallup in ash and lava. It was soon afterwards occupied by refugees from the newly established NAN. The majority is a wasteland of rusted factories, abandoned buildings, and squatter camps. Within is Hell's Kitchen, with it's lava fields and boiling geysers. It's residents grow up with the knowledge that any cut or scrape may result in an infection and therefore death, all the while hacking black phlegm. It is a place where sometimes it seems as every 10 meters there is a new gang.

Yeah, I can't draw to save my life, but I can fuck around with stuff in Gimp or Inkscape or Affinity or whatever. Years ago, I did this with nothing but Gimp and tutorials (I can't find the original GIMP files though 😭)

Does it mean you've made it in #TTRPGs when someone says, "You're not the boss of me?" Here's the section they're referring to.
Fine to have a small section on safety tools but I found it eye rolling and irritating to have a game TELL me not to skip and "hand waive". I REALLY don't like it when people, including the game tell me how to run MY table. Id ditch or seriously soften that section. You do you, fine. Don't tell me how to run a game when Ive been doing this for over 30 years. Including them is fine, trying to brow beat is NOT. DON'T SKIP SAFETY TOOLS Do not hand-wave anything as “everyone is an adult here.” Be specific about the subject matter that may come up in the game and define the lines the group is willing to cross or not. Tribes in the Dark games can include themes and depictions of body and psychological horror, emotional and psychological stress, sexuality and sexual themes, drug use, religious and cult themes, and violence. Additionally, the day-to- day reality the Fallen face can mirror many real-world situations, ncluding homelessness, domestic violence, and food insecurity, and can be upsetting to those who have faced or are facing those same challenges. Because of these things, always ensure safety tools are in use, and check in with each other regularly when these realities and themes surface within the game. If a portrayal or event is causing distress, dial it back or simply leave it out of the game.
