What is this thing about trying to convince childfree people to have kids? Like the last thing I would say to somebody who says “I don’t want a dog,” is: “go adopt a dog.” You live your life, I’ll live mine. (I’m actually asking, why are people so invested in the reproductive choices of others?)

As a cat owner, nothing, NOTHING, will ever deserve the term “preen” more than one of my cats stretching and purring and- possibly- prancing around while being pet. So if I use this to describe a character’s reaction to something, I mean it, because that shit is precious. #writing #cats

Have we lost our ability to distinguish fiction from reality? Because so much of our lives are virtual? IDK, but I’ve been getting a lot of reviews lately mad at the characters in my fics, but also saying that they’re not mad at me. Y’all, I wrote them that way, do you really not get that?

🧵 There are a lot of misleading claims out there about the SAVE Act. Let me set the record straight: I voted for the SAVE Act for the simple reason that American elections are for Americans. Requiring proof of citizenship to register to vote is common sense.
