Pearl Harbor memorial makes me cry every time.
Some of the tourists piss me off, TBH. Some don’t seem to understand it’s the scene of a MCE (mass casualty event). Many wouldn’t look my husband in the eye the day we were there.

The US is burning down, but we got a puppy from a rescue anyway. More love, tenderness, and care can’t hurt, right? And, you guys…she’s so sweet. I’m a cat person but this girly here is adorable.
(Yes, she has a hot spot that’s being taken care of w/vet care.)

The one on the left is Amos. He’s been keeping me company while I am sick. He’s the family emotional support kitty. He’s besties w/our daughter. Lydia, on the right, has a lot of anxiety and will let you know when her boundaries have been crossed. She and I are very similar.

28 is great! To be honest, have been a ROUGH few months and I’ve considered a drink or edible more than I have in years. BUT, I refuse to turn back. I’m not willing to give up my life, my family, friends, and amazing work and clients. They deserve the best of me, despite the current shit storm.

My best friend died one year ago today at the age of 46 due to colorectal cancer. I was able to be there her final week; I’m grateful for that opportunity to accompany her out of this earthly plane. She was a light in my world. I miss her so damn much.
