The amount Musk and Trump are boasting about regarding federally funded research aimed at studying health outcomes in transgender people (the $8 million)? Just out of the research grant budget for the U.S., it would be the equivalent of if you had a $10,000 budget and spent 86 cents on something.

Watched Sugarcane tonight. The atrocities committed against indigenous children by the Catholic Church is entirely revolting, and the lack of accountability and justice too. Required watching. The struggle is intersectional, no one is free until we are all free from white supremacy.
Watching 𝘚𝘶𝘨𝘢𝘳𝘤𝘢𝘯𝘦 (2024), once again it beggars belief that the Catholic Church has not been held accountable for its many crimes across the world and has been allowed to flourish into the 21st Century.

ACT-UP 1990. This is the climate that I came up in. My activism is a direct result of years in the gay rights movement. There were those who preached respectability politics and those who were the agitators who actually moved things along. I’ve always been the latter. We need more of this NOW.

DEIA initiatives helped ensure people from rural areas had equitable access to good paying jobs, but I think a lot of rural white ppl were brainwashed by their bot-infested social media feeds into thinking DEIA only considered black folks or gay folks.
