It is but has far less than black. Also, for green tea, don’t use water that just finished boiling. Let it cool a few minutes before adding it to the tea. Results are less bitter. The hotter the water, the more tannins are extracted.

Gunpowder green tea is a fave. Any green with added flavor you like should be good. Greens work well with stone fruit flavors - think cherry, peach, plum - but Genmaicha (green tea with toasted rice) is surprisingly good. Black teas are my go to. They’re more versatile in terms of flavor variety.

The system is SO broken when an actual human reads my file and decides ”nah.” It absolutely shouldn’t be anywhere near this hard.
