I'm here for #WoSo, #StarWars, and #Urbanism / #Bikes. Living in #Portland / #PDX. Still at 🏡.
I remember some controversy over a certain serving of Cheetos branded easy Mac as well... Although that might have been lunch 😂 😂 😂

Yes, I agree even though I am also playing the game. But I only have 15 years of PERS credit and at least 20 years of working until Social Security.

I did not know of this loophole! At least many aren't tier 1 PERS where you can also count sick leave into your final wage calculation. Definitely have heard folks severing their time on Dec 30th with sick + vacation + comp time to boost their final salary by $30k+

I'm a big Union guy, but if I had a magic wand, I would cap the PERS wage to $100k maybe $200k and you couldn't juice your salary with overtime.

This is the same team that beat Madrid. Not worried...but we need to decide on winning now with Robbo and Hugo or the future with Isak and Kerkez.

Can't say I did a lot as chair of the BAC, but happy the BAC members stood firm for this result.

Like Damascus steel, Greek fire, and Roman concrete, I thought we lost the skill to build such wonders!

Me too. Saw the sign at Yeon.
November 21, 2025 at 4:23 PM
So you're saying it's possible... 😂
November 21, 2025 at 1:14 AM
And now of course I read the rest of the thread. #WalkingInWalkingOut 😂

This is more akin to System Development Charges, if the fee is living in land use law. Then the fee has to be roughly proportional to the impact. For me I would compare it to a business license. But members of SCOTUS would probably love to strike it down anyway possible.

Not if Councilor Ryan has, anything to say about it! 😂

Can't demobilize if you couldn't mobilize in the first place. It's like Schrodingers' guard! 😂

Where can we see the list? And is Dudley on it yet?
November 19, 2025 at 1:34 AM
Do we have numbers of rural who move to urban centers? I would think that migration is significant. Young folks who can leave aren't saying I want to live in the suburbs; they are moving to cities.

Now waiting for the Oregonian article about... Something something socialism... Something Peacock... Something something.

My vote would be for the rough-skinned newt!

This is downtown Palo Alto. Nothing can go in except restaurants, but the rent is toooo high so there is constant failure.
November 18, 2025 at 12:00 AM
Feel bad for Szoboszlai though...
November 17, 2025 at 5:06 AM
This is one of many arguments that scooters companies had. Your assessing fees to the wrong use...All city Dots charge fees/taxes on things you don't want, but unfortunately cars are too engrained so you charge everything else too high, so it doesnt pencil.
November 17, 2025 at 3:17 AM
Clearly arguing about who gets the ball ⚽... 😂
