I've said this before elsewhere but I'm thinking about it more lol
It's a lot easier to like/appreciate my own imperfect writing now that it's so clear that imperfection is so crucial to the humanity of art.
I'm still harsh on myself but I no longer hate my own work for being flawed and it's nice

Maintaining the will to create lately has felt like that game where you have to make the bird or jetpack-person fly above and below obstacles and you only have one life so every hit is back to the beginning. Entering my "consuming lots of media and practicing wonder" era instead for now.
