I like Against the Darkmaster a lot. It's a great MERP retroclone that cleans up the text, streamlines it for modern gaming, and wears its influences on its sleeve. It also has this heavy metal aesthetic that I love. I love how they're infused in this table of Passions.

Making my dungeon descriptions more inscrutable than ever
I was in my blog drafts this morning and found a post from 2016 that clearly was the beginning of the CASTLE AUTOMATIC project (later built out by #dungeon23 and then revised into a full megadungeon, coming soon!)
Look at the first scrap and compare it to the intro blurb of the completed one

Curiosity: If the time engines change the season to summer so that the water thaws within the castle, its steam apparatuses will function again--including the clockwork chickens that gossip and tell rumors in the Kitchens.

Alter Environment: In the Threshold Tower, there are engines of time that can change the weather, the time of year, and the time of day. If the guild can repair and restart these engines, they can alter the environment of the entire castle -- trees will grow, water thaw, animals will sleep.

Random Effect: In the Torture Chamber, the Wheel of Fate initially just dolls out terrible banes. But! If the broken sphinx, Clemency, can be repaired, it will deliver boons as well.
Pimple the Torturer will feel terribly betrayed by his beautiful wheel if this happens.

The thing I like the best about Frank Franzetta's EOWYN VS THE NAZGUL LORD is that Eowyn was disguised as Dernhelm, just another one of the boys. Which means that this is how all the Rohirrim were dressed.
