I understand that no one will even notice this post, but I think that the DOJ is now knowingly and purposefully torturing the Epstein survivors.

I read that hogsbreath, while sitting safely in a room watching a video feed of someone else blowing up a small boat, miles from land, used the excuse that the murder (war crime) of the attack's survivors, was due to the FOG OF WAR.

If either he or the admiral were confused, they should RESIGN.

New idea, instead of tax write-offs for inflation, there should be rebates for inflation. Rebates help even the poorest who do not earn enough to make use of tax write-offs.
The money for this comes from taxing the richest among us.

Republican congress people who might be willing to leave early, like MTG. Might find it helpful to have a comfy job waiting for them when they leave. Perhaps we could start a corporation where the members of the board earn a couple million a year and then offer these Republicans seats on the board.

I am an old white man who believes a militarized police makes us weaker.
I am an old white man who does NOT believe in science because science is a system of discovery that exists outside the need of belief.

Aren't monopolies great?
How could we possibly live with more competition than we have now!

Competition might just lower prices, which would lower profits, and we certainly can not have any of that stuff, right?

Save America by creating one massive corporation that owns everything and everyone!

Someone smarter than I should suggest that democrats run on a semi-annual inflation tax rebate, to be funded by taxing billionaires.

This rebate will be paid to anyone whose family income is under $400,000.

Billionaires have become GREED.

"... if privileged people can see and believe only those things that enshrine their privileges, how can anything except violence persuade them to renounce those privileges and alter their beliefs?"

There is an old saying that clearly declares that the GOOD die young.

That saying implies, and rightfully so, that the rest of us are a bunch of fucking assholes.

Too all of us assholes who still believe in human rights , I salute you!

I am sure someone wiser than I has already mentioned this, but based upon all of the firings of anyone that disagrees with the Whitehouse's lies, why would anyone believe any of the numbers, such as, unemployment and inflation, that are produced by a Dept. of Labor, which reports to Trump?

I ran from the airport to make this deadlift appointment, after a very long work and travel day. So it wasn’t pretty but it wasn’t ugly either. It’s my final set so I’m talking a lot of ish.

Hips shot up on the 1st rep (tired) but 2 & 3 are about as clean as I get.

I feel like I know my Bluesky audience pretty well, but just in case some of you have (gasp!) never seen Casablanca and therefore never had the heartsplitting experience of watching a bunch of real life European refugees stand up and drown out fake Nazis by singing the Marseillaise go fix that soon.

I just finished @mattstrassler.bsky.social's book and damn is it good. If you want to understand particle physics, really understand it, this is your book. It dispenses with extraneous jargon ("scalar" becomes "nonpointing") and walks you through a sequence of progressively more refined metaphors. 🧪
Waves in an Impossible Sea, by Matt Strassler
A physicist takes us on an awe-inspiring journey from relativity to the Higgs field; the universe creates everything from what seems like nothing at all.

BlueSky is so calming compared to twitter, that I find myself wondering where all those thousands adverts are.

The recent news that Comcast intends to spin-off it's broadcast products, is not surprising. It is concerning, and we truly need a moderate and/or liberal billionaire to buy these products. Estimated value, at this point, is 7 billion, anyone have any ideas who might be able to save these networks?
