you did a great job explaining the text and its context—super helpful as someone who missed this book entirely aside from vague awareness—and part 3 was a really compelling argument about how the story still manages to stand on its own, completely aside from its author's intent. a good video 👍

I've been playing these games since Metroid and Castlevania II. Silksong is the most well-crafted and considered entry into this genre I've ever played. if you’re looking for a secret, do you keep hitting a wall in the same spot, or do you hit everywhere you can until you find the one breakable bit?

I know I’ve said this before, but this new style you’re developing (vs your pixels) is just so fucking good. I love the texture, the neo-retro stylization, the blending of negative space with the dominant color of their dress. And here you’ve outdone yourself with her expression, dang

gotta recommend Common Side Effects if you haven't seen it yet. funny, compelling story, and the attention to detail in the animation, specifically with expressions, is amazing—especially how spartan they can be with frames. fascinating to see what they chose to animate and what they didn't.

according to the signage this place has everything: RENTALS, THEATER, MAGS, NOVELTIES *and* ARCADE??? I feel an overwhelming #need to go to WV by St.Albans, to see what games are available at this VIDEO ꜱᴜᴘERSTᴏʀᴇ

Their stated rationale feels insane to me. It “rewards having a deep knowledge of the rules and cards”?Maybe to initially brew the deck, but certainly not to play. They also claim it can be frustrating to lose to because it “abuses the rules,” and not “mulligans are your last point of agency.”
