I’m sharing a Palestinian account every day and today is Mahmoud. Mahmoud was a computer engineer doing web development before this. He’s lost his job and home (and many coworkers) and is in a tent with his family including his children Zeina, 6 and Zane, 2. His wife Malak is 7 months pregnant.

Was thinking hard about applying to a zine that sounded cool but then I saw one of the mods was someone I know who has me blocked so I guess that decision is made up for me now 🤠

No matter how old I get, rejection never feels good. What I’ve found that works for me is to acknowledge and validate the feelings, process them and move forward. Not every person or opportunity is meant for you and that’s okay. The ones that are meant to be will come when they’re supposed to. 🔥

I finished babysitting my sister’s cat not even a week ago and just as I found relief from the persistent allergy symptoms that have plagued me for almost 4 months, my other sister infects me with a cold 🥲
